Not Quite One Million Pillowcases

These are my pillowcases
for CraftHope's Project 9.

Not even close to one million,
but if everyone pitches in...
Three pillowcases is
three more than zero!

There was a special request
to remember boys and teens.
These flew together,
took me 30 minutes tops for all three.

Sew a few yourself, would you?

Craft Hope!

Craft Hope has announced their next project!
They found a group that committed
to providing a quilt to every homeless child
in their local school district in Michigan.

And if you're new to quilting but still want to help,
they will even do the quilting and binding for you!
You could just send in a quilt top!

Even if it's your very first quilt top...

...ever!

All the quilts are to be made
with squares of fabric.
Super easy,
nothing fancy,
but super cute!

This really could be your first quilt.

Go here to find out more.
Commit to one quilt if you can.

and her tragic death.

Bye-Bye Monkey!

Today we sent our monkey off to his new owner.

We gave it an extra hug to pass on to its preschool burn victim.

Bye bye Monkey! Be good!

ps. Reason #51 why I love my town: The man at the post office let my kids actually stamp the package! You know, the official punch stamp with the date and originating zip code and all that? That one! So cool!

Preschool Burn Camp

Calling all my Crafty Friends!
Craft Hope just announced their new project.

Put your craftiness to extra good use and
please help with this!

This project is making sock monkeys
for the children attending Preschool Burn Camp.
Think about that.

Preschool. Burn. Camp.

I have a kid in preschool.
Do you?

Let's do it!
