DaddyMan has the week off.
Sooo, all the honey-do's are being tackled
with the added pressure of getting completed
because we have tons of people coming over
in just a few days
for Two's birthday party!
One has Cub Scout camp all week
and Two is just soaking up all the extra attention.
One of the honey-do's is painting
all of the interior doors and trim white.
(Rather than the original 1970's stained wood.)
Two stayed outside with DaddyMan all day as he was painting the doors.
I set up a blanket in the front yard for her to lounge on
and we all had a picnic lunch out there.
It's got me thinking that maybe DaddyMan and I should take the kids out individually on dates as a couple. We already make a point of spending one-on-one time with each kid ourselves, but Two seemed to really love being an "only child" for awhile. (Three was napping.)
How does your family handle individual time with your children?
